The collection includes genealogical materials (lineages, marriage, birth and death records, research notes, census materials, etc.), George Davenport correspondence, newsclippings related to George Davenport and the Davenport family, writings, correspondence received by Darlene Paxton, and a scrapbook belonging to Irene Davenport, the great-great granddaughter of George Davenport. The scrapbook contains newspaper obituaries, articles of local interest, school notes, photographs of the family home and family visits to various locations between 1914 and the 1930s.
